Unveiled Damsel Arise by Marie A. Broadwater

Book Description

Like a wise old woman imparting into an impressionable child, "Unveiled Damsel
Arise" moves to give spiritual and intellectual motivation through its wisdom. "Unveiled"
is a book of poetry searching the joys and pain of womanhood. The title of the book looks
at unveiling the mask covering the hurt, and continuing to move on.

review by Julian Vaughan Hampton, CEO, VaughanWorks

Unveiled Damsel Arise by Marie A. Broadwater, begins as follows:

Heart Of A Poet

At this moment I sit here writing,
exploring, creating.
I feel the floetic vibes beginning to flow.

Poets have different attitudes, backgrounds
and styles.

We are poets, writers, artists, poets, writers,
poets, poets to our hearts.
Poets to the core of our very being.

This is where I belong. In this
moment in time. Here with
my peers, sharing our rhymes.

They feel me. They know me, without
even knowing me.

We share the same God given talent
The written word.

I love being a creative spirit in the earth.
I was destined to be a poet from birth.
