JULIE A. BANKSTON
About the Author. . .

Julie A. Bankston was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She is a Licensed Social Worker/QMRP by profession. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Social Welfare, and a Master's degree in Education-Family Studies.

For over ten years, Julie A. Bankston has written poetry about things she has taken pictures of through her eyes that left memories, good and bad, and feelings left in her heart. Through her poetry, she finally releases them onto paper to share with the world.

Julie asserts that her writings are words of hope, peace, and love, channeled through the light that comes from God and her guardian angels, which inspires her to share her thoughts and feelings with others.

Other books by Julie include Valley Experiences, Gems Wrapped in Love and Pumpkin and the Pink Bible. A description of Come In, and a brief excerpt appear below.

Come In by Julie A. Bankston

Book Description

Dedicated to her father, who kept his family together following the death of Julie's mother, Come In includes glimpses, some humorous, others humbling, into Julie's world. For those readers interested in journaling, the book includes space to share their innermost thoughts and feelings.

Come In by Julie A. Bankston, begins with the first poem, "Come On In," as follows:
COME ON IN

And get comfortable
Come on in, You are welcome here
Come into the way I have looked at the world
Come in and feel what 1 have felt
Come in and hear what I have heard
Come in and experience what I have inhaled and exhaled
Just come on in
Relax
Read
And listen to the emotions!
