The author is a 1979 Indiana University graduate with political science and economics majors, and a 1982 University of
Wisconsin Law School graduate. She is a licensed attorney in Indiana and Wisconsin.
Drawing from her past as an attorney for hospitals and nursing homes in Wisconsin, and writing under the pen name,
Terri Kay, she created the crime story series, A Promise of Revenge, consisting of thriller books, and much more. Topics
such as relationships, bullying, domestic abuse, and self esteem are included in her book guides and web site. From

offers education and entertainment for a wide audience.
The books in A Promise of Revenge trace corruption in the health care industry, particularly the activities of one ethically
bankrupt doctor. The first book in the series, A Promise of Revenge (The Death of Javier), is described by one veteran

book, The Secret at St. Sans, is a "disturbing and enjoyable mystery" according to the Midwest Book Review, which also
